BASIC SKILL FIELD

The content of Talent Academy has been prepared for kindergarten and primary school students.

Talent Academy starts in the third week of October and ends in June. Class size is 24 people maximum. In the academic process, each student is included in the talent program according to the test results and teacher and family evaluations that have been done throughout the year.

The programs are planned by mapping the talent map of the school.

Participating in talent programs occurs according to the field of interest, the skill map of the group, the opinions of the relevant teachers and the opinions received from the parents.

Vega School Talent Academy uses Basic Skill Program in this field.

This program carries out its studies in five different fields. Within each field, our students are provided with education in all sub-fields with a weekly process determined according to the context of the program. In the fields where the program is applicable, we collaborate with Altınbaş University and work with Talent Academy instructors.

  • Supporting the growth of kindergarten and primary school students by recognizing their abilities and interests,
  • Being able to monitor the skill progress of students by applying the aptitude test annually,
  • Developing an exclusive application model for abilities and interests in our school,
  • Supporting the further development of the education system in our country with the Talent Academy.

TALENT ACADEMY PRODUCTS/TALENT PRODUCT FOLDER

In accordance with their discovered talents and interests, all the works and products of our students are exhibited in the sub-fields of VEGA School Talent Academy where they are placed.

At the "Talent Academy" they attend, they are given the opportunity to produce, share what they produce with their group of friends and show their talents to others.

As VEGA Schools, we support the social progress of our students with the projects they produce and the works they participate.

TALENT PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS

VEGA Schools closely monitors the performances of each student at the Talent Academy attended by our students. By filling performance evaluation and observation forms, their progress is kept under an exclusive follow-up.

CAREER FILE

It is a personally prepared file belonging to VEGA School students who are gotten in to the Talent Academy in accordance with their talents and interests. In the file, things such as students’ individual development in the academy, their progress within the group, changes in their skills and interests are noted down.

During the semester when our students start the academy, their self-assessment is taken and how much of their expectations are met is evaluated at the end of the year.

At the end of the year, the Talent Academy Certification is given to our students.

TALENT DAY/TALENT WEEK

Appealing to different fields of the Talent Academy, experts in their fields are included in our activities during the Talent Day/Talent Week. Our students have the opportunity to meet professional people closely and share their curiosity about the field.

Our students acquire the skill of expressing themselves as confident and productive individuals by showing their work in front of a large group of people on Talent Day/Week.

BASIC TALENT PROGRAMS

Basic Oral-Language Talent Program

The goal of this program is to determine the verbal and language skills, interests and tendencies of the students, to ensure their participation in the studies about this field and to improve their skill level in this field at the end of the program.

Basic Maths-Logic-Nature Talent Program

The goal of this program is to determine the talent, skill, interest and tendency of the students about the field of maths-logic-nature and to ensure that they participate in the studies about these fields and to improve their skill level in these fields at the end of the program.

Basic Social/Personal-Self-Directed Talent Program

The goal of this program is to determine the talent, skill, interest and tendency of the students in the social-personal-self-directed field, to support them to participate in the studies about this field and to contribute to the improvement of themselves in this field by doing and experiencing at the end of the program.

Basic Physical-Kinesthetic Talent Program

The goal of this program is to determine the readiness of students about the certain sports branches in the physical-kinesthetic field, for them to acquire basic movement skills, to determine sports branches suitable for their aptness and to support them with basic technical skill training. Therefore, students will lead their way to sports branches that are suitable for their aptness and interests and they will be involved in sports that will always improve their quality of life in the future.

Ability test is done once a year during high school education. With the test conducted for each student before the new academic year begins, it is ensured that the Career File is created by monitoring whether there are any developments and changes in the student's abilities and interests, and vertical development is realized in the field of dominant ability. In line with these developments, they are directed to the same or a different skill area as the previous year. Each student participates in "Jobs and Career Planning" activities in line with their abilities and interests.

Conducting Talent Academy studies at this level; It has an important place in terms of helping them to gain awareness about themselves, helping them to discover their talents and interests, guiding them in choosing a profession, preparing for the future in line with their abilities, increasing their academic success by supporting their ability development, and supporting the development of the country and the development of the education system with the education of talented children. In addition, as in Maslow's teaching, individuals who know themselves well and make the right choices in line with their abilities and interests reveal their "Self Realization" potential as happy and successful people in the future.

VEGA Schools Talent Academy applies Branch Talent Program in this field.

This program carries out its work in seven different branches. With a weekly process determined according to the scope of the program within each field, our students are provided with education in all sub-fields. In the areas where the program is implemented, we collaborate with Altınbaş University and work with Talent Academy instructors.

  • Branch Talent Programs are applied to 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and high school classes.
  • Students are first given an "Ability Test".
  • Test forms are filled out by students.
  • These tests are applied at least once a year.
  • Programs are carried out primarily with the teachers of the school with external support when needed.
  • Support is received from ALTINBAŞ UNIVERSITY in the execution of the program.
  • It can be applied outside of school hours.

TALENT ACADEMY PRODUCTS / TALENT PRODUCT FILE

VEGA Schools exhibit the products of our students in their sub-areas where they are placed in line with the interests and talents we have discovered.

Creating, producing and sharing products with their group friends at the "Talent Academy" they attend gives them a great opportunity to display their talents to others.

We also support the social development of VEGA Schools students in the projects they produce and the works they participate in.

TALENT PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS

The performance of each student is closely monitored at the "Talent Academy, which our VEGA Schools students attend. Performance evaluation forms and observation forms are filled in to keep track of their progress specifically."

It is a personally prepared / created file belonging to VEGA Schools students who are taken to the Talent Academy in line with their interests and talents. In the file, the individual development of the student in the academy, the development within the group, the changes in his ability and interest are recorded.

During the period when our student starts at the academy, self-evaluation is made and how much of his expectations are met at the end of the year is evaluated.

At the end of the year, the Talent Academy Certificate is given to our student.

Literacy Culture in Vega
