Psychological Counseling and guidance services, which are the uniting point of students, teachers and parents of all other parts of our school, is one of the most important departments. We will have counseling teachers controling each class.

As Vega psychological counseling and guidance department, we support the healthy development of all our students socially, emotionally and academically with our work in cooperation with school and family.

OUR CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY PROJECTS

Our aim is to reinforce our students' ethical and sensitive behavior towards social, cultural, economic and environmental issues. Our project titles based on social benefit:

  • SECONDARY SCHOOL: "We Improve Children's Quality of Life."
  • HIGH SCHOOL: "We Are Overcoming the Barriers."

OUR COUNCIL STUDIES

The aim of our project is to create an established awareness of democracy in our students and to give them a culture of election. Each class president is a member of the assembly. However, the meetings held every month are led by the president of the council and act as a bridge between the administration and the students. At the same time, our council is the leaders of our community contribution projects.

TEST AND INVENTORY

Our biggest helpers are our inventories that we apply in order to get to know our students and determine their needs. Frostig (Developmental Visual Perception Test), Metropolitan School Readiness Test, Reading and Writing Scale, Attention and Thinking Skills Test, Sociometry, Work Behavior Assessment Test, Exam Anxiety, Vocational Orientation tests.

VOCATIONAL CAREER PROGRAM

The aim of our program is to help our students make the right planning for their careers. For this purpose, our studies for "Occupational Presentations" in the first article of our module will continue throughout the year. Within the scope of "Applied Vocational Observation", we expect our student to spend at least two days with one of the profession experts they are curious about, and thus, we ensure that our student has observed at least one professional expert every year.

MENTOR TEACHER SYSTEM

Class counselor teachers, providing academic guidance and support; Follow the student's progress closely, listen to them actively, helps to determine learning goals and to raise students' awareness of themselves. They are the people who increase the awareness of the family and give them feedback about the development of their child. They are the most important teachers in the power triangle (family, school and student) which is very important for Vega Schools.

PARENT SEMINAR

Our aim in our programs, which are organized considering the age periods, is to inform our parents about their children's developmental needs.

PREPARATION FOR EXAMS

Our aim is to give all the support to our students in high school and university entrance exams.
